Alsuwailem's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

Mohammed Alsuwailem

25-year old center Mohammed Alsuwailem (211-C-1998) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Al Hilal Riyadh and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
He had a double-double of 25 points and 20 rebounds, while his team outclassed Al Safa (#9, 1-5) with 30-point margin 112-82. Al Hilal maintains the 2nd position in Saudi Arabian league. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Al Hilal already had a very good start winning all 6 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Alsuwailem had a remarkable 85.7% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Al Hilal, through which he has constantly improved. Alsuwailem has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (8th best: 22.0ppg), rebounds (4th best: 12.3rpg) and averages solid 78.9% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Donte McGill (190-G-1995, agency: Green Sports Management) of Al Wehda Mecca. He is American guard in his first season at Al Wehda. In the last game McGill recorded impressive 41 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists. Of course he led Al Wehda to another comfortable win outscoring Deba (#12, 0-6) 134-84. Al Wehda's 5th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 4-2 record is not bad and everything may still change. McGill is a newcomer at Al Wehda and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 35.0ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 5.4rpg and 3.8apg. Former Florida International University star McGill is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Jamell Harris (208-F/C-1991) of Deba (#12). Harris scored 25 points and grabbed twenty three rebounds (!!!). Despite Harris' great performance Deba lost 84-134 to the higher-ranked Al Wehda (#5, 4-2). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Deba can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have awful season losing so far all 6 games. Harris has individually a great season in Saudi Arabia. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 14.0rpg (3rd best).
